Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU
Has anyone had a problem with battery life due to the new hildon-desktop?
I noticed charged dropping roughly twice as fast with the new packages installed, reverted hildon-desktop to the old version and battery life returned to normal. I'll file a bug if other people have encountered this, and keep looking if nobody has. |

I am using Catorise: Given enough time I'll do some playing around with packages and see if I can pin something down. |
Re: [Council] Maemo 5 gets community OS updates
Just my thoughts but is there any chance both threads regarding the CSSU could be combined into one thread as to keep a brest of things you need to check both threads. It also seems users are reporting issues on one thread which have already been dealt with on the other?

Re: [Council] Maemo 5 gets community OS updates
Hmph...I will not even try testing before there is proper changelog. Otherwise there will be quite likely pointless conversations that could be avoided by making full changelog.
And yes I tried to understand n+1 modest stuff in Git tree and what is what and failed miserably. For example is PR 1.3 (3.4.8+0m5) same as 3.90.7 and only fixes that have been applied to community modest are "#2563 and #3700." Which description you have to separately find from git log. Or what? |
