Work has been done on WhatsApp, but it's not official in any stretch of the imagination. |

But, I've fixed the prob. It was real easy. Just select that you're not the original user lol and the user name is still the same only the number was different. So, prob solved :) |

It's actually not bad, finds quite few people, not as many as Whatsapp but the latter's a hack, not official. Functionality wise it's just a capable in iOS/Android, perhaps more. Symbian^3/Maemo6x versions need one more major update (should be soon) before they're at parity. |
Re: Ebuddy XMS is out now
eBuddy may be as good as Whatsapp but the problem is that few of your buddies use it. Whatsapp is still King of the Hill in terms of popularity.
The problem is not so critical with video calls because you usually only do video calls with your loved ones and it is not a problem to persuade them to install GTalk. So like it or not, Whatsapp is still very much desired for N9. Official or not, who cares? But this is not to discourage eBuddy developer. More options is always a good thing. |
Re: Ebuddy XMS is out now
XMS is free, whatsapp isn't!
