Half (2/3?) of things You mentioned wasn't touched since kp49, but it's still nice to hear that You have so positive experience ;)

Hmmm... (now that I'm a bit more awake) the more I think about it, the more I wonder if I ever upgraded to KP49. I may have actually still been on KP47 before the switch to KP50.
I remember thinking about an upgrade to KP49 for a long time, and looking back, I'm not positive I actually made the effort to upgrade it. :)

Either way, I'm certainly glad I did finally upgrade to this one!

Still running v48, having no problems at all in doing what i want to do with the n900.
Overclocked
Running smooth.
Never longer than a day from power cord.

i wonder, did i overlooked any good reason to install v50 (considering 'don't fix anything when not broken' adagium)?

Pointless question - check changelog and decide Yourself.

I was happily using KP47 and never saw the need for upgrading to the latest versions.

The turning point for me was SmartReflex.. I wanted to see if it would bring any benefit in my (low) usage pattern, so I went ahead and installed KP50.

I can now say that (1) it didn't break anything, (2) VDD1 and VDD2 on gave me a 10-15% improvement in time between charges.

harry, I think that typically happens after weird things done by battery patch, which has a thread where such things can be discussed.
