(for the record, the answer was: the dev does not have a N9, so it can be ported but the dev won't port it) |

Re: [DEVEL] Saera: Siri clone for Maemo 5
I do have all those packages installed:
pocketsphinx-utils pocketsphinx-hmm-en-hub4wsj pocketsphinx-lm-en-hub4 gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx python-gst0.10 python-gtk2 python-gobject python-cairo espeak One more thing, I was able to run this app few times (it was probably not deb back then, but i am not sure about that, it was very initial release). But after few times, it stopped working and I never tried it since then. |

I have never liked any kind of voice interaction command software. But this is fun since it's so basic and not working so well.
(don't mean that in bad way. It's fantastic work) |

Re: [DEVEL] Saera: Siri clone for Maemo 5
Small idea, inspired by post above - maybe it could search local copies of wikipedia (via Evopedia, already available for N900)? It would be quite interesting, to have Saera really know "everything" :)

@All: As you may have noticed, there have been no updates to Saera in the last week. This was mainly because I borked my laptop's Linux installation and development was too much of a pain on OSX. However, I am reinstalling and hopefully will be adding new updates by tomorrow. |
