Cepi, could you make the database persistent? I Mean that it does create a new one when you use anoter sim card.
Thanks :)

I actually like the way it is right now, but it could be optional for those who doesn't want to have a new DB.

@HtheB: why do you like it that way? Because for me, whatever the simcarte, it's still the number your registered in whatsup that is working.
For me it's very annoying to copy/paste the old database to the new one to keep my conversation in an unique thread, always seeable no matter the sim card.

And that is exactly how I like it :)
If you need to change a number, you can remove the account manually

So you did not got my point. I want that whatever the simcard, my whatsup account remain the same in use. This point is very good.

What is annoying, is that you have a conversations/contacts database for each simcard you insert. Since the account do not change whatever the simcard, why separate the conversation??

what you don't understand? why somebody should switch whatsapp account just after switching simcard in phone?

Re: Whatsup - Harmattan client

Hi.
Maybe with an example....
.-You have one device and two simcards.
.-Each simcard is associated with a different whatsapp account (based in their phone numbers).
The requested function means that when you insert one of the simcards, whatsup shows only the conversations&contacts associated to that simcard.
When you insert the other simcard you'll see the conversations&contacts associated to the second simcard.
Did I get it right?
Regards.

Re: Whatsup - Harmattan client

Initial situation: your device has a+7 simcard. you have your whatsup registered with this +7 number.

Then you go to France for a short time, and want to use a +33 simcard number. Your whatsup is still registered with your +7 number. It's very good, i really like that. This must not change.

Problem: I daily use my +7 simcard number. All my whatsup conversation are related to this simcard. There is a database linked to this simcard.
When I sometimes go to France, i change the simcard into my phone. There is another database linked to this simcard.
Therefore, when I put my French simcard, I do not have acces to my previous conversation I had while using my Kazakh +7 number until I put my Kazakh simcard and restart whatsup.
^THIS is very annoying.

I hope it's clear enough.
