MPD's email cleary states dispatch friday, meaning they'll be prepairing them for dispatch tomorow. so who ever said they got a phone call is talking absolute pish. when the hell have you ordered online and they phone you up to tell you its dispatched never.

Aload of ******** if you ask me

This Is great news, as according to steve, having placed my order on 18th Nov I would have been waiting till mid Dec, which would be problematic, as my PAC expires 18th Dec, and i'm going to vodafone.

I got worried as well when steve claimed that second batch will be after 2 weeks

I presume most people ordering from MPD are going on contract with Vodafone, but if I recall correctly, Vodafones fair usage policy for their unlimited data (?) is 500Mb ... Which I would NOT advise at all for this device.

Sorry if I've missed something obvious, but I cant see how the two can live in harmony.

Yes 500mb is insufficient for downloads but for browsing and IM it's fine. I do high bandwidth stuff on my wifi..

Re: Mobile Phones Direct N900 Customers

I had the same alot of people have too

Got a question for anyone who placed an order with Mobile Phones Direct

I am transferring my number from o2 to vodafone
after sending the pac code twice, in my order status it states "Pending PAC"
does anyone have the same issue and i emailed nokia retail aswel as MPD and they both just send emails like the december 4th one and the december 3rd one

rockabase 2009-12-03 02:08

Re: Mobile Phones Direct N900 Customers

I signed up for the 24month contract with mobile phones direct
i didn't check it properly when i ordered and now i have seen the exact same contract for 18months if i just pay £25.

do you think that they would put me to the bottom of the list if i ask them to chnge it and let me pay the 25

Not got the same issue, I'm getting a new number, but they were pretty slow to update any infomation on both website and peoples orders so I wouldn't worry. Guess it won't change till they actually process the order either, but not sure.

Re: Mobile Phones Direct N900 Customers

best bet is email and ask MPD

They are getting paid to settle customer queries
lol i had a problem with MPD myself waited to long comparing the n900 tariffs and the cheapest being T-Mobile at the time got removed
ask MPD why and got a simple answer quota for T-Mobile has been fulfilled
