I also use stock voltage with a CPU frequency of 1150 mhz. So far, I've only had one reboot in many weeks. Therefore this seems to be a pretty stable configuration to me!

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Got my N9 with default voltage @ 1.05Ghz, with 1.25v @ 1.2GHz and now I keep it 1.365V @ 1.3Ghz. @ 1.35v it crashes immediately. Not so good overclocker.

1.2Ghz at 1.275V since 1 months, not a single issue, not heavy user (no games).

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Hi there,
As I'm facing some weird issues, I would like to remove opptimizer, and I didn't find any Inception command to do so. Any idea how to uninstall Opptimizer? Thanks. |

Have the same problem here: "FAILED TO EXECUTE LOADER". I have installed (in this order): INCEPTION (installer), Opptimizer (core), OpptimizerN9. Before I have also installed FasterN9 and Home Screen Settings. Thanks for your suggestions. :) Cheers |

You installed inception (installer) but did you activate it?

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Ok, thank you... Will try it later.
Is it possible to activate the developer mode after I installed inception and will it work then? Or do I have to install inception (and OPPtimize) again after enabling dev mod? EDIT: What about "aegisctl" - do I need it for overclocking? |

But it still doesn't work :( see here: http://www.abload.de/img/screen_27-nov-1adbpy4.png And btw - I don't know why it asks me to install "new" version, i have the latest: http://www.abload.de/img/screen_27-nov-2uqr7n.png Cheers EDIT: Looks like I acitvated inception. Will it stay activated and if yes, for how long... Or do I have to activate it after every restart? And the most important question: how can I bring OPPtimize now to work? Thank you very much for your help! :) |
Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
you only need to ever activate inception once and it'l stay as such till a eeflash...your screenshot clearly shows inception is activated...

I think you foget this part:
Install in this order! (change to the directory you saved the files) /usr/sbin/incept opptimizer_1.5.4_armel.deb /usr/sbin/incept opptimizer-ui_1.2.7_armel.deb Quote:

First, open xterminal as "root" Then, type apt-get purge opptimizer Wait until you see the #. Next, apt-get purge opptimizer-ui After you successfully uninstalled both of them try installing them again in the order as what DeepBlue said. Then try running OPPtimizer and do the tweak. Hope it helps :) |

Just save it in /home/user/MyDocs/ then do:
Code:
devel-su Edit: Just saw your edit saying you saved in /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads/ before so just change the above command "cd /home/user/MyDocs/" to "cd /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads" |

Ýes, I have a file manager but I don't know what: "Just save it in /home/user/MyDocs/ " really means... There is no folder or anything called like that where I could copy the installation files. Sorry.

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
just plug your N9 into PC or laptop via USB then copy those 2 files and paste it in. when you access into your N9 Mass Memory, you are in /home/user/MyDocs. Hope my explanation help :)

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Thank you all very much. Even without this command: /usr/sbin/incept opptimizer-ui_1.2.7_armel.deb (Terminal: not found) it looks like OPPtimizer is working finally.
Will try to overclock later @ home :) Edit: Now everything works. :) Running at 1150 MHz @ 1362500 µV! |
Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Now running @ 1300 MHz @ 1387500 µV - without problems! :)

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
I installed Inception with N9QTweak, reboot. Then installed opptimizer_1.5.4_armel.deb and then User Interface 1.2.7.
When I start the UI it says that new kernel module available even tough my app list show 1.5.4 to be installed. Raw output shows Failed to execute loader. |
Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Are you sure you have installed both packages as said in the first post? For me it seems you installed those via filebox.

Re: overclocking kernel modules + UI for PR1.3 [ko v1.5.4] [ui v1.2.7]
Thanks my bad. At first I looked that usr/sbin/incept was just the folder where he had placed the files.
BTW 1.3 GHz 1.325 V :D |
