Those seem to be the crucial lines from your Log.
Perhaps, as 'zanglang' suggested, the autocan deb file you downloaded is bad.
You could try getting a new copy and this time when it asks you 'to open or save', saving it first to make absolutely sure the entire deb file gets downloaded. Afterwards you can install from Application Manager's: Application "Install from file".
If it still won't install you'll at least know that the problem wasn't a partially downloaded or corrupted 'autoscan' deb file.

Sorry to hear that you had no luck even after downloading & saving the deb file first.

Perhaps somebody else can help with analyzing those lines from your Log:

Installed fine on my N800 but I had to reboot before it could find the loopback interface (127.0.0.1).

Have you gotten Autoscan to work on OS2008? It seems to load OK for me but will not execute into the app. Thank you

I also am having trouble running AutoScan on OS2008 (N800). The installation seemed to be successful. I load AutoScan from the Extras menu. I see two instances of the AutoScan_Agent process running, but no GUI.

The installation binary I used is the 770 v1.01 from http://autoscan-network.com/index.ph...d=12&Itemid=27

Looks like a nice app, but I had the same problem. It installed ok, appeared in the Extras menu, and appeared to start and then nothing happened.
