Well, that's not meshing quite with my control panel; either you have an N810 (my bet) or are running a different OS.

But if you have it set to launch the finger keyboard with either finger or stylus, you'll never see the stylus keyboard/HWR. Change that setting.

No, it just means I can't be sure from my end; I have an N800, so I don't know exactly the interactions between the keyboard slider and on-screen keyboards, and I don't know what your control panel looks like (it's a bit different).

I just did; while there may be some other issues, I know that it can't work while you have "Launch finger keyboard" set to "With finger and stylus". Change that to either of the other settings and try tapping any text input area (with the slider closed).

benson you are the best!!~ i set it to "with finger and stylus" and it worked!
but with it covered the almost the hole screen.. i changed it to never.. and it makes a smaller on in the bottom as bun showed me in the pix in page 2..
and i found the page looking icon with a triangle next to it ! :D
