Penguinbait is quite right, the "Lye-nuss" pronunciation is an Americanism, it's not used in Swedish or Finnish.

Except in the video, Linus himself says his name in English is LYE-nuss.

Are you suggesting that because the English version of Linus's name is pronounced differently, persons for whom English is their primary language should pronounce "Linux" in a correspondingly different manner?
