Re: The stupidest move Nokia could make

Quite honestly, i prefer to keep the phone part out of the tablet and just use a cheap cellphone to complement. there are situations, where I wouldn't want to take the much bigger tablet out to answer a phone, or take it with me for that matter. If I go to the mall, i won't be using it so the phone will suffice. Sometimes its plainly dangerous, like answering in some buses within my city (they would take it from in a second), or taking it to places where it could get wet ot dirty.

BTW, calling Benson an idiot and a troll is quite uncalled for. I know that he has always been helping people around here, and using good manners, so please don't make this forums an unpleasant one to roam. If you don't agree with what he says please use arguments against his arguments and not against his person. Even if you think he was being "trollish", aswering in the same matter only looks childish.

I wholehearted agree with that sentiment. If it MUST contain a radio, at least made it a standardized cartridge or card add-on or something. But it MUST be cheap, open and future-facing in design. I'd rather just use the Bluetooth since it's cheaper and easier to implement, under the circumstance, than a cartridge.

:D Go to youtube, and post something slightly controversial. that should do. I actually don't mind trolls, but this is the first forum where i have felt really a part of a community, and have been really active, and it gets me on defensive mode. I hope i don't sound too serious. English is only my second language so i tend to sound a lot more serious than what I really mean. :p

thanks for the laugh! :D Really, its not like nokia is an inflatable boat, going down just because 2 or 3 guys aren't getting new tablets. Customers usually have power only in big numbers (or in the US, trough a couple of lawsuits)

No he wasn't!!! NO HE WASN'T! [read: call me names] :)

Sad thing is, it prompted me to rant without intending to be sarcastic, though. But yeah, I know HE was being sarcastic. :P

I, on the other hand, speak English as my primary language and I appear to ALWAYS come off as sarcastic. As posted elsewhere.. maybe it's because I'm American. ;)

Was that sarcasm? WHOA! There I go again! :D

I hereby name this thread the Troll Thread of the Week.

You know, its highly possible that by the time the "N900" or whatever comes out, a service like GrandCental will become free (Probably with ads), or never come out of Beta. For those who do not know, GC is a service that shadows calls from one "GC Number" to multiple phones (Including SIP). For FREE. That's right, Free landlines and cellphone.

Oh, and don't yea know, OpenMoko is going to take over the market. Its a fact.

Well, I don't know, apparently landline calls are free in the US? For me Skype is cheaper than anything else (local calls included). I bought credit for 10 euros and it seems to last forever.
