Re: Spotify on n8x0?
Well, gSpotify was just something I put together one weekend to see if I could make it work. Code is a mess and it crashes constantly.
But the despotify team made their own maemo client afterwards, it's in the SVN. Just uncomment two lines in the makefile to compile it. Only has basic search and play though, but it seems more stable. I'm thinking about making a proper client out of it when I get the time. |
Re: Spotify on n8x0?
the maemify client that's included in despotify is a bit too simple, so I liked yours better.

I also tried apt-get install libvorbisfile3 to get libvorbisfile.so.3 rather than symlink. But the result was same. Any hint? or Could anyone kindly post despotily compiled for N810 in deb/tar? |
Re: Spotify on n8x0?
Just got confirmation that despotify (in xterm) works on an actual N900, so I guess all that is needed is a working gui.

Yes, GUI is needed though both despotify and simple can be used. How about offline playlists, can they be built on the application side or does that need something more from Spotify? |
Re: Spotify on n8x0?
Go Go Gooooo !
plz somebody make a GUI for this, ( and of course with an easy operation and installation) |
Re: Spotify on n8x0?
Thought I'd bump this thread as I'm a Spotify addict! Does anybody have any news?

Re: Spotify on n8x0?
Any further news on this? Assuming it works will it work with Spotify offline? http://www.spotify.com/blog/archives...-goes-offline/

I'm really hoping that libspotify will be compiled for arm though. That would be nice, since then it would be the official supported library, which does include offline playlists. |
