Re: make facebook video work!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, LNX 11,0,0,0 works for the Adobe web site (it reports 11,0,0,0) but Facebook still stubbornly says I need to upgrade my Flash.
:( Any other suggestions? |

Yes, they probably have feature detection...

Re: make facebook video work!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe the "Shockwave Flash 9.0 r48" string needs changing too, but I can't be certain. EDIT: Yes, I can be, thanks qole. :p
Disregard that, Bundyo knows his ****. :D EDIT: Perhaps not :p EDIT2: Gah, you're driving me crazy! |

Facebook works when I change the LNX string to "9,0,159,0" and change the r48 to r159. It works VERY SLOWLY, but it works. EDIT: Well, I've yet to actually see a video, it just keeps "loading" and "loading". So I won't say it works, but it doesn't give the "upgrade flash" error anymore. EDIT2: It never seems to finish loading a 13 second video. So I'd say it still doesn't really work, it just appears to work. |
Re: make facebook video work!!!!!!!!!!!
Myspace still doesn't work though. At least with 11,0. Hulu too.

Re: make facebook video work!!!!!!!!!!!
Hulu somewhat "working" with "Shockwave Flash 10.1 r2" and "LNX 10,1,2,0". The videos are still encoded at too high a rate for the tablets to handle, but the site seems to accept the Flash version as good.
EDIT: Facebook can't find the camera to record video, but no error messages. I'm trying to find a video there to play. EDIT: Hulu spends a good bit of time "Loading video...", but eventually gives up with, "Sorry, we are unable to stream this video. Please check your Internet connection and try again." |
Re: make facebook video work!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaargh, I tried with 10,0,8,0 :)

Re: make facebook video work!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, that's frustrating. Facebook video pretends like it will work, even displaying the animated "loading" indicator, but it never finishes loading. Not with a spoofed 9.0.159.0, and not with 10.1.2.0, either. Same behaviour in MicroB or Tear, so it isn't a browser thing.
