Re: Buzzing sound from 3.5 jack?
I'm using Denon AH-C751 in ear headphones and don't have a problems. I haven't even opened the earbuds that came with the device(thought nice to see more in ear headphones coming with a device).

Re: Buzzing sound from 3.5 jack?
Again: ALL mic-less headphones should work just fine, unless they're somehow non-standard (longer jack or some mutation). The device can sense they're the classic 3-pin type and fall back to the correct mode
If you happen to stumble upon the right type of mic phones, it will work too. If you have the testicularity to chop up the offending jack and rewire it the right way, the wrong type will work too. But that i don't recommend and i doubt we'll see a lot of it either |

Re: Buzzing sound from 3.5 jack?
Try this:
If your headphones are making that buzzing sound, and have a button to answer/hangup whatever(like my blackberry headphones for example) hold down the button WHILE you plug in the headphones. Solved the problem for me. |
Re: Buzzing sound from 3.5 jack?
Close! But for me all that does is spread the left channel across both ears. the true music can be heard when the button is held again.

I have just now connected my N95 remote (that I used to control music on my N82) and then the Blackberry headphones on there and you don't need to press the button while plugging in. Sadly the remote control functions don't work :( |
