i tried to use a router close to the model of mine... and its asking for username and password...

did u change ur un/pw? if not then just google wat the standard un/pw is for ur router???

i tried to put something on username and pw.. even i put something on it.. it still that "it looks like that username and pw is blank".. idk whats happening on the portforward...

got it men.... i used the tightVNC instead of VNCviewer.... :) its working now...... Haha And Using The Phone On Writing This Post... Lol...

i cant seem to get it to work. i can connect from wifi but not from my mobile carrier, i've forwarded the port, disabled all firewall, use the external ip but still unable to connect.

i tried pinging my computer also and that didnt work either. so is it my mobile network? i'm positive i got my external ip right.

how would you know if your isp uses nat. i think it uses nat for their voip service though.

Most common situation, may not apply to your case, when winPC reboot, it changed your local address, the 192.168.1.xxx. Recheck to make sure the local ip address remains valid.

2nd most common problem, are you using any port? For example, rdesktop default to 3389, any port will have to be specified. Similar info, thread #14 and http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=23932, and http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=9407.
