Sorry to jump in here when you're all talking about MSN, but i was hoping someone could help me.

Can I set up my Yahoo account on my N900 through Jabber?

I tried to set it up by putting my username and password in, but is constantly set to "Not signed in".

I've never ever used Jabber before, so if someone can give me step-by-step instructions, that would be amazing.

why do you need jabber for yahoo ?

Because Yahoo isn't listed as one of the services under the "VoIP and IM accounts" tab, and I've been having trouble with Pidgin.

Is there some other way to get Yahoo (Y!M, I mean) on my N900?

YES! But I do not know what kind of 'address' I have to fill in.... Any time I try with different address and passords it doesn't help :(( I need help, please ;)
