I have this on my htc mogul and it works perfectly and it has a resistive screen.

[REQUEST] Swype input method for maemo
 

A virtual keyboard for N900 in which we could write using swype method from android. Open sourced maemo can give us a nice implementation for input.

Not to put a dampener on this, but from experience, it is not going to be easy.

this wud be a great thing to have on n900, one of my buddy has it on his HD2 and typing is soooo much faster :(

Yes, as soon as someone writes the necessary Hildon Input Method stuff, it can be possible.
