Re: Yaspot (spotify client)

Works well for me. First launch was with Low bitrate and that crashed very soon. Second run with High bitrate and works perfectly. Listening to my fourth song now.

It does skip often, but not if I don't touch the phone. There is a skip when the screen goes off and when it comes back off. Even when it dims.

Love it though! I just renewed my Spotify Premium subscription that I let go when I swapped my Htc Hero for an N900.

Kiitti Juho!

Ha! Just got an updated Qtify from the repos, and just about everything that was wrong with it has been fixed in one go.
Yaspot or Qtify - so confused! :)

Yes, yaspot needs to be optified before it can be safely installed. I have allready managed to brick my phone once because of a 100% full root partition :)

Yes, I also updated Qtify and the UI is much better than before. For some reason Yaspot doesn't open anymore. It only worked one day and bricked before i updated Qtify. Before Qtify update, Qtify stopped loading in "Log in window" and now it works again. weard :)

So both clients seem to have problems. But im clad that these guys update their great apps all the time. Thank you!

Would it be possible that Qtify and Yaspot would cooperate and make one moth**f*****g great Spotify client? :D

perhaps you need to reinstall despotify to get Yaspot to work. Or perhaps it doesn't work with the new libdespotify.

Re: Yaspot (spotify client)

I haven't download despotify before. I only installed Qtify from Extras-dev and everything worked great. And then i installed Yaspot. First it worked and for some reason it doesn't work anymore.

is it ok to install despotify again or maybe update? Using x terminal?

in xterm:
Code:

sudo gainroot
apt-get install depspotify

you need rootsh and extras-devel enabled. Beware that it might mess things up.

Ok! Thanks.

I'll wait for next Yaspot update. If that doesn't fix my problem i'll try installing despotify from xterm.

Is there a reason behind why only premium member spotify apps are being made?
