I've read reports on here regarding removal of well stuck on screen protectors causing this problem. Be very careful removing anti scratch products. Mine clicked on the far right hand side of the screen, I simply gently pushed on it and its not clicked since. Do not do what I did unless you are happy gauging how hard, crushing your beloved N900 isn't the objective.

Suspect its glued on with sticky stuff.....

Ok the keyboard issue i can live with but the clicking noise i cannot and refuse to put up with it, i paid good money for a phone, that should not have this issue right?

Screen makes the clicking on the top part here, but it disappears the next day for another three or four days.
I also found that pressing hard with my thumb on it (with the screen open and the other end of the N900 supported by my other hand) gets rid of the problem for a week or two (or if you're lucky like me, a whole month).
Same issue with the QWERTY assy, thinking about replacing it by myself.
Other than those, no issues at all

So your saying the clicking noise went away after you pushed hard on it slightly.. I dont think id do that untill i hear from smooth mobiles

I sometimes get the click sound in the top right corner, when pressing on the close, or back button. It usually only happens once every so often. (silent mode, no vibration).

The keyboard part is coming away for me too, but from my Nokia N82, the same thing happened on the side, so I assume it is normal.

Could that keyboard thing be fixed with the right screw driver? where are the screws located that tighten that area up?

And what about the 4 hour battery life from the time i leave home till midday. the phone is dead with out any real extensive usage is that just an issue for everyone or only some.. I find it funny that the phone is fully charged when i leave i do some internet banking bit of emailing and the phone is half dead.. Im going to get smooth mobiles to check this also.

I've heard about the clicking noise at the top and bottom of the screen, I don't know if that's a big deal, but the looseness under the keyboard definitely isn't - they keyboard bezel is just a piece of plastic to keep dust out (well actually it helps hold the keys over the sensor pad too). Mine is loose there as well.

Over time my old Treo 650 would "loosen up" a bit, I'd just back off the screws a little and re-tighten them, and it was good as new. Getting a hard case for it solved the problem.

I have 2 N900 and the bottom part is loose on both. You can fix it by pushing down and out (toward you) because it has 2-3 clamps.

However, as soon as you squeeze the device the bottom margin bends and it pops out. I'm just living with it now, I could glue it never to be disassembled again.

why didn't you just visit a nokia repair partner/center and ask there?!?
