Edit: You have to flash the fiasco image again, then the eMMC Remove the -R option when flashing the FIASCO image. http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_f...MC_in_the_N900 |
Re: Re Flashed N900 - Yay - But Help
ok, it says never boot the device before installing the emmc, yet you have to do the firmware first, which aito reboots anyway. Is it safe to flash the emms after its' rebooted?

"Flash the FIASCO/rootfs image first using the above commands, WTIHOUT the -R at the end of the command. " DO NOT add -R when reflashing the fiasco image. Code:
flasher-3.5.exe -F filename.bin -f |
Re: Re Flashed N900 - Yay - But Help

Re: Re Flashed N900 - Yay - But Help
Ok. This what I have done. Flashed the device with latest firmware (UK). Success (Omitted the -R)
I then entered the flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R And the system asked for USB connection, then went through code, the N900 showed the 4 white dots, cycled through them and hung. The terminal in XP showed error 1 code. Am I doing it correct? |
Re: Re Flashed N900 - Yay - But Help
It then find the USB, then boots the device in flash mode
and then:- SU_GET_UPDATE_STATUS_REQ terminated with error code 1 the N900 hangs on the white dots |
Re: Re Flashed N900 - Yay - But Help
