I am having the same problem. The new repo is enabled and the App Manager goes so far as to download the package, but when the installation actually starts I also get the "Unable to install pelota-widget" error message, with no extra information. Very weird, had never seen this before.

finally worked for me.had to restart my fone a load of times for it to show up!

well i get this after trying to install via root using .deb

/home/user/MyDocs # dpkg -i pelota-widget_1.0.0-1_armel.deb (Reading database ... 28530 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking pelota-widget (from pelota-widget_1.0.0-1_armel.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing pelota-widget_1.0.0-1_armel.deb (--install):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/loaders/libqtpluginloader.so', which is also in package qt4-homescreen-loader
Errors were encountered while processing:
pelota-widget_1.0.0-1_armel.deb


i deleted the libqtpluginloader.so !!

still the same error comes !! even after reeboting

After several testing I found this wirget doesn't work if you have irreco-widget
And if you already have this installed, forget to install irreco-widget.

Both widgets uses libqtpluginloader.so file, but different version I guess. That's the problem.

EDIT: the widget starts to show info!
