I have tethering problem, I connect to internet on my desktop pc via n900. My pc runs both ubuntu and windows. And the connection on the phone is 24/7 so the phone is fine too.

I think it just a matter of between the phone and the pc. So far I am praying and hoping my connection wont drop after writing this post. Does anyone have the same problem.?

NOAK it is about the connection drops frequently, after connecting few minutes, there are many ways you can get connected to internet by using pcsuite or ovi suite or whatever, the simplest mode is connecting via ubuntu, it needs no other software. But the problem is the disconnection. I hope someone can solve it.

And whats this>? - create a dummy connection so that hildon applications can use the internet , there is a package for this in extras devel/
