BUT, it's not working, I've tried it before...
Sorry to be bothering, but I really apreciate the help.

My full paths are these

/opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/ ( then the games in it )

and

/home/user/MyDocs/Games/ ( And the games folders in it, like com.gameloft.app.asphalt5 )

I know I must be doing something fundamentally stupid, I just can't see..

Basically if you've done it right it should look EXACTLY the same as before once you've symlinked it in filebox except your com.gameloft folder in /opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/ will have an arrow overlaid.

a) Make sure you start the symlink in /opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/

b) Make sure you select the actual com.gameloft folder (by entering the com.gameloft folder in MyDocs/Games, then selecting it above once you're in in filebox)

Kind Regards,

@veleno the flash is very easy, trust me, and yes your right 5 gb isn't enough, but it is for me, and the post looks fine , ho capito .
and d4rklar where did you get driver, i know where to get the .deb, but i don't think the .deb can save the game progress.
google translate ;) i thin k its the best way for communications.

To make sure you're Driver .deb saves correctly just chmod -R 777 the whole com.gameloft.app.driver folder,

i used .deb with nfs undercover, and with that .deb i couldn't find the com.ea.... file, it wasn't in /home/user/applications.
when you installed driver, where you able to see the com..... file in applications ?

Just a quickie.:

I delete which folder, and before or after the symlink?
And I have two opt with these files, in /hom/opt and in /opt...

OK first copy the file to MyDocs,

Then delete the original (if it's a .deb install it'll be in /opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/).

Then create the symlink to the one in MyDocs

But i don't understand the utility of the .deb

To install a game, we just copy ONE folder and in x-term write 2 elementary command

(chmod and desktopgen appinfo.json)

I know, but to people with no linux experience installing a .deb is easier? Well less keypresses anyway :D

I'm all for the lazy option when it works and is available!

Thanks buddy. I appreciate the lengths you went for this. Thank you Veleno also. I will try this when I get home tonight. Veleno, maybe it would be a good idea to include the creation of symlinks from filebox in your original post so every single step is there.

Eitherway, thank you and always feel free to bring new ideas to TMO from the Italian one :D
