Bugtrackers are tools used by developers. Harassing them about corporate level business decisions is just gonna make them even more sad they already are.

Indeed, but maybe at some point developers may want to backup claims of existing user-base and meego support from the community. In that case this report (just like t.m.o. threads) can be uses as POC.

btw, the bug has 27 votes until now. Voting for it may only help the situation in the long run.

According to this it is the 3rd most voted bug in bugs.meego.org. At least lets make it #1. What's the worst that can happen by voting it?
