I followed the video and read the wiki page over and over.
I installed CSSU, pressed the icon. (now not listed in the menu anymore) When I try and 'update' CSSU, The Application details say..

Summary: this Maemo update requires Nokia PC Suite on your PC for installation. Connect device to PC via USB cable and open Nokia PC Suite. The application will guide you through the rest of the Maemo update.

Problems... Unable to update 'Maemo 5 Community SSU Package'. Conflict with application packages: libqt4-test (4.7.0-git20100909-0maemo1+0m5)

My Maemo5 version is 20.2010.36-2.002

Any suggestions? Please?

Before installation, did you try apt-get update & apt-get upgrade in the terminal?

no. I didn't see anything like that in the instalation material I read/watched.
Should I uninstall CSSU and use x-terminal? Instructions would be appreciated.

The message about PC Suite just means you are short of space. The easiest way around that is usually to go into Xterm (oops I almost said DOS, showing my age) and as root running apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.

Or you could actually follow the instructions and run PC-Suite.

The message about ibqt4-test means there is a conflict with something you have already installed and it has to be removed.

I would run xterm, become root and run apt-get remove libqt4-test and if that seems to work I'd be ready to go.

In my experience with CSSU, the lock screen can is quite broken with portrait mode as it often tends to be blacked out or will try too duplicate the image to make the 480 pixel deep image fit the screen. (althogh i do have a theory that a more generic 800px deep image may mask this, but I am still working on my theme). Oh and reviersetris will nolonger play as it always wants to be in landscape mode, even with rotation lock on, but the game was not designed for CSSU use anyways.

Apart from that, it's all good! The biggest thing that cheered me up was the abilty to use the soft-key im portrait mode when using the web AND to acces the status menu/options whenheld upright.

I would say it is worth a play with at least and please do. you can always revert back
