i am not sure , but if flashing doesn't work , you should try to flash EMMC .
but still wait for any dev's answer .

i did both and i have all apps missing like fm transmitter

its a preproduction unit and ali_canada, flash emmc and kernel like the way i wrote instrictions for you. it will flash differrently compared to other n900's

i flash manytimes but still same problem and missing the fm transmitter

its a preproduction unit and i believe its not the finished unit. just a prototype... so functions could be missing :( :(
