I've successfully installed N12 over N11 on EMMC, works like a charm!

Maybe you need to explicitly list which headline items that are required for normal day-to-day usage are currently missing.
I was about to try this new release out, but knowing calls are busted means I wont.

I'm using the same kernel which I used for N11 Vostok, so no need for me to reinstall kernel, I did the following in xterm :

cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d N12_UMay.tar.bz2
cd /home
mkdir /and
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/N12_UMay.tar
Worked fine for me, hope this helps.

No, it means something completely different.

Of course it means we can send sms, that's what "SMS sending" means :P (Haven't tried it, don't have time to install and check untill next week, I just relay on what e-yes wrote)
