Re: DontGo - OBD Diagnostics on N900
Would this work with a Ford Focus 2005 1.6 TDCI? (UK Model)
Thanks |
Re: DontGo - OBD Diagnostics on N900
I have the same one, and couldn't get it to work with Carman. Something about Carman not liking the ELM327 1.4.
Could be beneficial to split out the libraries so that other projects could also utilize the newer versions of it. slaapliedje |

Re: DontGo - OBD Diagnostics on N900
Hello,
Thank you all for you interest in the application. I built this application in my spare time to diagnose my car. And i thought to share it with you. Still a lot of work needs to be done in order to bring to release state. Hence i don't know when i will be releasing it. Cheers |

Re: DontGo - OBD Diagnostics on N900
I'm very interested in this. Do You plan to - at any time in the future - implement options to reset warning messages, etc.? I know, that You can do everything at once ;) so my question is rather about application "roadmap", than actual feature request.
Remember, that carman source code was released, when then decided to not develop it further - maybe some parts of it can be helpful to implement some features for DonTGO? |
Re: DontGo - OBD Diagnostics on N900
raedbenz, you seem to be very busy..
If you need help in packaging or whatever send me a pm - maybe I can help you ;) I also started coding now on my application, which I described here (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...9&postcount=17).. I'm sure I'll get a good modules at the end but to be honest I'm not good in making UI's.. I don't think I would get at the end something like Carman, but something simple using Qt :D hope to hear from you soon |
