not working at all as u said i tried sh kofv5.sh bt it gives :line6:bgdi: permission denied. wht to do? where is the author of this thread

The file it is referring to in line 6 has to be made executable (chmod +x ....).
I encountered the same issue.

Well, if you want me to spell it out for you:

start x-term, then
Code:
chmod +x /opt/kof/bgd-runtime/bgdi
And start the game.

Yes, it worked for me too. The game starts now. Thanks and May someone update first post with all the informations step by step! Thanks again!! and also the Desktop file, it does not start the game.

can we find an easy way to emulate escape button? maybe by tweaking the config files or something like this???
