That would mean we will get some deb file that would be compatible with n9 but not with n900 as far as I know. Sorry if I am mistaken here but I doubt it will work out of the box or with any tweaks.

Version for Meego && Symbian is coming. But maemo is not planned imho. Only "may be".

I sent a stinging message to Whatsapp.

Dear Sir,

The essence of Whatsapp's attractiveness as an IM software is its cross-platform nature. Hence I cannot understand your reluctance to port to new platforms like Meego-Harmattan (N9). Your policy strikes at the heart of Whatsapp's popularity. With the rise of free IM software like eBuddy, LiveProfile and Chat-On which are less selective about porting to new platforms I'm afraid the time will come when Whatsapp's dominance will be demolished.
