So... correct me if m wrong but it seems the HTC Mozart with the Mango update is better than both these phones. And to top it off it came in 2010.

Wow. Thats just sad for nokia.

Allow me to doubt that Nokia will add anything significant to Win phone 8. At beast there will be a Nokia theme for tiles

The 710 seems to be same hardware minus 3 megapixels and less hyped screen technology. Price difference 420 vs. 270. I would definately go for 710, if I wanted WP7 phone.

700 - 8gb of internal memory no card slot


How can the N9 have 64gb? but these have so little?

you do understand that these SoCs are really hard to compare?
Qualcomm uses a Cortex A8 derivative called Scorpion, they can't be compared in a MHz race. I don't know if 1.4GHz Scorpion is faster than 1GHz Cortex A8 (like comparing a Intel Core chip to a AMD Phenom).
Also the GPU is totally different, as are dsp cores. etc. etc. Add the fact that the OS-es also are totally different: impossible to compare.
