The source you used for MobiTifo was http://www.livescore.in/. shockr, thanks a lot for bringing a very nice and useful app to N9! Seeing past results, future fixtures and tables are a must for a good football app from my point of view! Having some kind of notification (for selected games), e.g. sound vibration, for goals etc. would also be very nice... |

Regarding the live scores... Yesterday I followed the german Bundesliga and noticed huge delays until the fixtures and goals showed up. Unless there was some kind of temporary issue, you might indeed want to consider another source of data. Maybe you can have a look at the previously mentioned livescores.in. They offer a free service (See http://www.livescore.in/free-livescore/) in cooperation with www.xscores.com. Another option could be to find a company that is willing to provide the data, while getting something in return, e.g. some ads, naming/branding of the app, showing of betting rates and link to their service... You can find further discussions regarding data sources in this thread |
Re: [Announce] Football Live Scores
Hey folks,
I just finished up with version 1.0.3 which can be downloaded from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/48083333/rig....0.3_armel.deb New features include: * Turkish Super Lig (this was in 1.0.2 which is available from the Store but I didn't upload it here) * Match fixtures for all leagues except UEFA Champions League and Europa League * Standings view for all leagues except UEFA Champions League and Europa League * Top Goal Scorers view for all leagues I didn't implement fixtures nor standings/tables for the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League due to the fact that the competition format is different, so the data parsing is a bit more challenging in this regard. I can't promise that this will be implemented in the future, but I may give it a shot when I get the chance. Regarding match times for the fixtures, I haven't done any timezone conversion, so these may be the local time of the location where the match is taking place. I will have to implement timezone checks in a future update. The fixtures are shown only for the current month, which means that if there are no fixtures for the rest of the month, no fixtures will be shown until the next month begins. I hope this is reasonable enough. I'm still testing out the combined live scores/fixtures view, so once I confirm that there are no scrolling bugs, I'll upload it to the Nokia Store. Enjoy! |

Re: [Announce] Football Live Scores
lol yes, and nokia promised us to support n9 till 2015 right?
|
Re: [Announce] Football Live Scores
So true, but I'm not sure what nokia will do for the N9 after pr1.3.
I had the n900 last world cup, had great widgets with all games, however it was a 10 min delay for update/beep. Can't find the app today, might be possible to adjust for euro cup. |
Re: [Announce] Football Live Scores
can we plzz get this app for N900. i really need this app and this sort of interface. is it possible?
