Does anyone have the custom 8GB and 5GB eMMC firmware files? It looks like the mediafire files have been deleted.

Here you are ;):
- 8 GB,
- 5 GB,
- 4 GB.

I'm using 4GB for home partition, which is quite enough in my opinion.

Yes, 4GB sounds like a lot of applications (I still haven't maxed out my 2GB stock partition). But it's good to always have extra space without the need to worry about it later. And large, fast micro SD cards are very affordable now.
