Hardware acceleration has NOTHING to do with program launch times (assuming you're launching a CLI program) All it does is offload OpenGL to the GPU (2 year old SGX530, same as in N900, Nokia being stingy wrt specs AGAIN) and video processing to the DSP (which is inferior to the one on the N8. Hurr durr.) This is a hardware issue, WONTFIX, moff moff. As for the notifications, imo the current system is fine by me, and a dropdown will simply add more clutter. But that's my opinion. |
Re: What would make my N9 perfect!
i am not asking too much, give me update every six months until 2015, then i would be happier and satisfied.

Re: What would make my N9 perfect!
I do not need extra features, nor more applications than currently available. All I need is improvements in stability, reliability and energy efficiency. Feature set is there, make it work rock solid.
There are several major issues that need to be addressed in PR1.3: - I lost all my contacts out of no where. All messages. All call log. That should not happen! - bug with always up-to-date e-mail accounts - must be fixed. - internet connection issue bug - must be fixed. May be several other really small bug fixes and enhancements and N9 will be perfect for me! |
