my n900 departed from me. but i still won't departed from her. she is my first love, n9 will be my wife and my first kid will more advance and my grand kid will be super duper.

Bought one.

Decided that I'll stay with another one in case this one dies. At least until Nokia makes something else that might just be the kind I'm looking for.

Oh, I may have to watch out for that. I can't say that I ever noticed this on mine before. I have just tried a test too by opening a blank canvas in mypaint and could not see a spot, maybe I'm just lucky so far.

That said, now I know this issue exists I will probably become increasingly paranoid about it. :D

I have two and i will keep them going as long as it is possible.
-Hopefully... there will be a new open linuxbased mobile-computer in the market by the time they both have died.

Regarding spots...
Is there a scratch on the screen where the spot is?
I have a small lineshaped spot following a deep scratch in the display, but i usually dont notice it.

as AnsasSyria said i'll keep it untill i die nobody knows maybe tomorrow.now ......:D and there is many people around me got N900 maybe if mine die i could buy a used one at least ;)
and also im wondering could the CPU or the memory get crached by the time as like computers ?...

hope we soon get something like N910 with many improvements about design.programing......etc i mean a device could do all what N900 could do and maybe better
