I'm a user of gpodder, but also a part-time coder. I've made changes I want to see in the app, ie only downloading 1 most recent episode.

I am trying to change it so the reliance on using /media/mmc1/gpodder is user configurable. The project doesn't have any bugs listed (ok it does, 1 old, vague one), so what else is there to look at? What features of desktop gpodder 10.0 are required? I don't see anything compelling.

Mika is looking at updating the package with changes, in the mean-time, the source is in the repository for those who want to pick it up for testing.

I have no problems with the program other than:
1. Gpodder starts up WAY too slow. When I start it in the AM to get my podcasts for the day, I usually have to start gpodder and walk away for a bit and let it finish starting up.
2. When checking for new podcasts, the progress window stays "on top" of all other windows, which can be annoying when you want to do something else while it checks for new shows.

Other than that, the program works great for me!
Now If I just had a player that can remember where I left off in my podcast when I open the file again, my life would be complete.

Some feature I'd like to add, is to display direct link to media file on item contextual menu or info view ?

I can try to add this if someone is willing to mentor me to sync this upstream?
