here you go vlad i am not getting automatic updates i have it set up to do it every hour on gsm and wlan but nothing happends

Does your device have connection to Internet in this time ? Omweather doesn't create connection in autoupdating mode.

Not sure how you would do that exactly, since there are only 4 "legit" stations available on the config screen.

Last week sometime, I did see a 5th station and I did clear it, but it returned after the next auto-update. Don't think there should be "rogue" stations appearing and disappearing. ;) It's a bug.

[edit] Auto-update no longer working. :(

ok my fault i was under the impression it triggers the connections if one is not present
ok then it works fine thanks

any plans to have this app trigger the connections on autoupdate? since autodisconnect is working good

i have version 0.24.12 and my weather does not updated automatically. I have update set to GSM and 1 hour.

maybe i've overlooked something the last time i had omweather installed but i didn't like the bright background of it.

i mean all of the other shortcut and widget backgrounds are dark/black and so this white omweather theme doesn't fit in. :/

so it would be nice to have a black/darker replacement for the background and of course adapted font color (grey/white) for using this widget. :)

(as i said... maybe i overlooked something... then i'm sorry for being blind as a bat ^^)

Unload Omweather widget.
And run in xterm the following commands:
gconftool-2 --set /apps/maemo/omweather/icons-layout --type=int 0

first parameter may be change between 0-9 (5-9 presets view)
second parameter - semitransparency level (0-255)
third parameter - count of day on display (1-10)
fourth parameter - size of icons (1-5)

Quick answer: "No". If you can recompile Omweather in scratchbox, then I can send to you patch for removal of these strings.

is it normal, because since I've downloaded the latest version, I keep getting to new locations. Meanwhile, I'm already 10 stations that can prove I call, each with a city. Is this a bug or intentional? And how many stadiums next??

I think I have the same problem, on each reboot I get a new station, I know have 13 stations:eek: :eek: Maybe something to fix for the next version? I only use 1 station anyway...

For me it's the same. I myself use only 1 station and now have 10 to choose from. I hope there will soon be an update that resolves this problem. Not that I have almost 200 stations to choose from! :eek:

You can clear up the station list by doing (in X Terminal):
The station list should be a comma-separated list of stations, so just leave out any you're not interested in. The quotes and square brackets are needed around the new station list, so don't leave those out. It's probably best to close down the widget before running this as well.

How do I permanently get rid of the "involuntary" GPS stations that continue to appear. (It cannot be removed from the configure dialog, becasue it doesn't appear there.) Or is this a bug?

then I ran all your commands in my N900 , loaded omweather widget again and I saw changes on my display. Try to do it once again.

The French translation is a big bag of hurt. Where are the sources so I can redo it from scratch? Not to diss the original/current translator of course, but the whole thing is riddled with mistakes and errors. Thank you.

Please unload omweather. Delete omweather package in Application Manager. Reboot your device. Install Omweather.
After version 0.26.1 you don't have problem with GPS stations.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but uninstalling OM gets the error "Unable to uninstall OM weather. Some applications are needed by other applications."

You'll need to uninstall the themes & weather provider databases first.
