same with u, i have my .deb file saved in Nokia N900/Documents, n have encountered the same problem as u had, so where shall i save my file to?

Argh... I don't even know how to input chinese... the guide is kinda messed up in some part and doesn't clarify what is the purpose of inputting the commands... how to type chinese in the Emacs?

install emacs successfully. just cant get full frame working.
do i rename the maxframe.el to maxframe
or do i path it to maxfrme.el

emcs just compain cannot maxframe
or can someone post the .emacs file

Keep the name with the .el extension, the path should point to the directory containing the elisp file, not the file itself.

got it , thanks

but how do you press
C-x RET C-\

i have remapped the keyboard but still need three fingers to
get the control backslash ie pressing the control and pressing the blue arrow
and the back slash .

what is the proper way ?
