Excellent Theme

Really like this theme, but it breaks my virtual keyboard (see screenshot). A reflash is the only way I have so far found to put it right. I am on PR1.2 and enhanced power kernel (although problem also occurs with stock kernel). Have tried changing to default themes, rebooting and un-installing the theme these actions have no effect.

Any ideas?

This will not stop me using the theme as I hardly use the virtual keyboard but it would be nice to get it fixed... anyway keep up the good work and thanks.

My VKB worked fine. DO you have that Matan modified hildon thing?

I don't even know what that is! So I guess not.

I haven't experimented with any other themes, guess I could reflash then try it with another. The reflashing is easy enough but the re-installing 70 apps is a pain.

Oh I remember, the 9 desktop thing.

I don't have that installed at the moment.

Re: [Release] an-DROID Theme

It shouldn't be problematic. I have the theme and Matan's modified hildon-desktop installed.

Re: [Release] an-DROID Theme

This Theme surely is AWESOME. But the Nokia's Hands BootScreen.... NOT. It Kinda spoiled the rich look of the theme... LoL. So I ended up pulling off a video from YouTube and adding editing it a bit (Music and Text) which now makes my N900 look like the real deal... :PJust download the bootscreen and check for yourselves. Im Sure you guys would like it.

You can Use the App called "BootScreen" In the Extras Repository using Application Manager.

Alternately, There are a couple of threads for this task

Yes. This application has the speciality that if you are notinterested in having any bootvideo, then you can keep boot video blank. At anytime you can return back to the default Nokia Hands video. So No Worries

Have you Restarted your phone? Turn it off. Wait for a while, turn on and check.

If it still hasnt changed, then go to themes and select the default nokia theme. After the default is loaded, again select the an-Droid Theme and restart your phone. It should work out.

I think he thought you were talking about normal desktop backgrounds.

Lockscreen is part of the theme and it's not easily changeable by user (just like the background of mediaplayer, clock app, application manager etc). This is same with any other theme (including the built in ones).

If you however want to change the lockscreen image, you can find instructions using this forum's search (search for "change lockscreen image") or google.

cheers just can't understand why an-Droid theme changed it and no other theme can change it back, even default nokia (as suggested earlier) will do it if you press the power on button straight after you lock it, but if ya leave it for ten mins and press power on button again it shows the blurred an-Droid background again?

So you're having problems on getting back the default lockscreen? Just change your theme back to nseries and reboot.

Okay...doesn't sound any familiar bug to me. Maybe you should try to uninstall the an-DROID and see what happens after setting some other theme.

Can you try some other scheme set @ Plastic Theme Setup, that should overwrite the "bad" lockscreen for sure.

one thing came to my mind, if you have maenotify installed, uninstall it and see if that helps.

Then I would recommend reflashing. I'm pretty sure that maenotify was the root cause for this since it does some caching of lockscreen images.

Reflash is pretty easy task and you when using built in backup -program you can restore your settings and applications easily afterwards.
