try to install it using AppMan. the name of the package is "Web Runtime", not "QTWRT", under the System section.

Love this app and all the work you have done thus far.

I have one feature request! Would it be possible please to include a "Global Filter" function ,similar to the one that currently exists in Tweetdeck and Mixero, that gives you the ability to temporarily omit hashtags and users from your timeline?

Not sure how much more the Maemo verson will be developed, Tommi has just released the Symbian version to Ovi, this could spell the end of Maemo version ;-(

Yes essentially it is, the problem is that with Symbian he can now get the app onto the Ovi store, something you cannot do with Maemo anymore now that Nokia has stopped support.

With the Ovi store comes visibility, more recognition and the potential to earn money from the app.

I hope he does continue with the Maemo version in tandem, I really do.

I just removed 2.0.5 (working fine) and installed 2.1.0 - twimgo now no longer appears in my app list.

I've tried various cleanup attempts, including a qtwrt re-install, but no sign of twimgo..

?

seems the installation process doesn't create file /usr/share/applications/hildon/0c3b3932030b781015cf0fc97bc3cfe7eb74f10f-wrt-widget.desktop

you can add it by create new file /usr/share/applications/hildon/0c3b3932030b781015cf0fc97bc3cfe7eb74f10f-wrt-widget.desktop, with content:

It does work once i do this. Remember guys u have to use WinSCP to ssh in ur fone and go to the exact folder and create the file.. its quick and easy. works for me.. thought there is a problem with the time i just tweeted and it gave my tweet as 9 hours ago..so am back to twimgo 2.0.15..

a bit blur on creating the file...what kind of file we need to create?

but i do know that the file name must be 0c3b3932030b781015cf0fc97bc3cfe7eb74f10f-wrt-widget.desktop

right? planning to use winscp. use pc to create the file...but what kind of file? wordpad?

Had the problem with missing icon, solved using the advice above (thanks guys). However the widget seems to be broken and also it doesn't login automatically. ANy ideas?

Is there any place I could get previous versions from?

I used notepad and saved it as "All Files" not as a ".txt" and it worked. hope that made sense and that helps haha

Qt wrt will not install, I keep getting the following message "unable to install web runtime. Some application packages required for installation are missing"

I am also still running on PR 1.2 if that makes any difference.

what can i do to make this work. it doesnt connect, it doesnt time out ... after i press login it just says please wait.

how the eff can this be a one off? like such a glaring problem should be looked into. is there a log i can look at to find out what its hanging out. for pete's sake someone should care. i find that such a lauded program doesnt have anyone willing to lend a hand with.
