Excellent work guys, just when I was growing tired of my N900 I find this and my interest is renewd!

I have a couple of questions, is there a tv catchup icon?
Also could anyone point me in the right direction to get some sick greyscale or black and white wallpapers to compliment these wonderful icons?

Will do one for Tv Catchup.. and i use one of the stock backgrounds.. it works really good. I was using humanity but have switched to Actus Reus theme by daddeddad. It needs some tweaking but looks good.

Hey buddy. How did you manage to use the icon pack with actus reus? If i use theme Customizer on this theme, it messes things up so i just use the theme as is because it's pretty nice! Did u overwrite the theme's icons?

No, i didn't need to. I did as normal.

The icon-themes are stored in separate sub directories under "/usr/share/icons/".. Theme Customizer take advantage of that. You have a file called gtkrc witch tells the system what theme and what icon-theme to use. So first you chose the theme, the normal way, and then the icon theme through Theme Customizer. The only "special" thing with Actus Reus is setting that theme up. You need to store it and symbol link it correct.

You can find gtkrc under "/etc/hildon/theme/gtk-2.0/gtkrc".

You know what's funny, I changed the icon pack through theme customizer but didn't select save and auto reboot, just apply changes. After it was set up, I powered off and then on again manually and they icons were changed successfully w/out everything messed up like before. Not sure if it is the the steps I took or the fact that I didn't change the fonts (that's what messed it up last time). Thanks for the help though. I will fiddle around with it a bit more.

Theme Customizer indeed fails to run if you have placed the theme into MyDocs (or any other vfat partition) and then symlinked it.

Proper way to "install" the Arcturus theme is to copy the folder directly to the:
/usr/share/themes

And forget about symlinks etc.

I didn't like the neon green active text color.. so i changed it to "dddddd". If you don't like the text shadow.. i opened up the gtkrc file and made a search for "chucknorris". Changed "eeeeee" to "333333".

Yes, in PR1.3 the whole /themes -folder is actually symlink pointing to the /opt -folder you mentioned. It's just faster to type just the /usr/share... address (less characters :P).

here im posting some screen shots please clearify is it a bug and if this is a bug is it in icon pack or in plastic theme as im using black plastic theme and awoken icon pack

bug: near e mail icon we can see dots and in other screen shots you see a dot line.......

and in previous version of 1.1 we had icone in app manager uninstall, download, update now in new version 1.3 those icons have turned into default icons... why?

and hey dude how about changing lcon of facebook widget below i have attached icons which is in grey and it suits this theme pack all in all everything in grey........

Thanks for the feed back. I am not sure.. It might be the Icon-theme (probably is) but the image looks good. It was however 32x31 and should have been 32x32. And that line looks like a 1 pixel line. I made it 32x32.. Hope it fixes it.

Yeah, i am on fixing the Facebook icon. I have noticed it locks really bad at some places. It get resized and blurry.

As general note: those kind of dots sometimes appears (I guess it's a hildon-desktop bug) and reboot makes them go away. Ofcourse if those dots are in the png file itself, then it won't help.

Fist of all I want to thank you for this awsome piece of work, I know how hard and time consuming it is to create, edit and make all these icons. (I once did skinning for moto razrs before I got caught by real life) So I really appreciate your work.

I could... but what would the fun in that be. :)

Right now i either install the app or find it's icon on the internet. Then i use the original as template and building the icon on top.

I will not be able to do them all at once. But will try to make them all eventually.

Absolutely wonderful job. It is time consuming to get the right icons + colors. Balance in this Icon Theme Pack is hands down the best i have seen, brilliant work. I am just unhappy i am late in installing it :)

i had my own icon pack i was using. I would love to know how to package it, maybe a guide or a link if guide is already available.

Attached is an Awoken-icon-theme for FileBox. It contains a folder "Awoken" that must be moved to "/opt/filebox/icons".

Then "Awoken" can be selected as an icon-theme in the settings of FileBox.
