chemist, sorry to say but you're a poor excuse for a moderator. Schizophrenia is officially spelled with a ph, and not an f. Simply using the old language card on me doesn't work, at all. Nice attempt at trying to defend your community. Not all words have their own spelling.

How about actually researching before making assumptions? It's not hard to spot that you're making up rubbish. Unless you are talking about a completely different language, other than English, then to be honest you're a complete idiot.

English is the universal language, and official spelling of words resides with English. That's like someone from China attempting to spell hello but spelling it Ni Hao instead. Hello is the correct spelling, but Ni Hao means essentially, the same thing.

Judging by your spelling in your post where you shared your opinion, you can't even correctly punctuate your own sentences, let alone grammatically correct them. I don't know, maybe you're from Fiji or the Cook Islands. I'm not racist, but don't try and correct me on my own language. Adapt, or don't respond - at all.

So you buy a phone solely based on its brand? Obviously I haven't purchased a WP7 as I feel Nokia manufacture quality phones. My brother's Samsung lags and I am too young for a HTC.

WM7 hmmmm Nah I'd rather selling my soul to Google Android if I'm buying a new phone. And my N900 will always be my trophy phone. Good luck with WM7 :)

Also a forum mod named Reggie asked me how I was related to Dion_ddc. Let me make this clear. We are not trolling, we are both excited about Nokia announcing WP7 phones. We just want to hear the Maemo community's thoughts on it. And don't ask personal questions without manners, please goes a long way. You can set contact specific ringtones on the N900. Search for custom ringtones in the repo's.

Hey now guys let others choose what they want to use. If they want WM7 phone then let them have it. There is no need to fight over it. After all N900 is a hobby phone and not fit for everyone to use. WM7 might be good for some but not for most of you and me. I'm preferring an SGS2 32G NFC instead.

We all have our own opinions, so let all just be friends. :)

I'm over the fighting or trying to win the argument. My money and my device, it's still mine whether anyone else hated it. My N900 may be old but so? I do not give a rat drops about it. I love it and I paid for it. It's a free speech rights whether you are off the net or on the net. There is no need to fight over something so small and what good does it makes? benefit? what will I gain from winning? All I could win is a blob of texts on a page of the thread somewhere in a vast ocean of internet. So i do not care :) Just trying to stop the flame that's all guys.

I'm not buying any more Nokia :) that's my decision. Hate it or love it then it's your choice guys. N900 will be my baby until it died

doesn't bother me though. Not going to pay too much attention to any of it :) just enjoying my working N900. I'm still satisfy with old device. first dead, before using WP7, even nokia, i will check samsung android offerings.

or who ever can get me a good open OS with good camera tons of storage and qwerty... except WP7.

Well no it won't be. Why would I buy a WP7 now, when WP7.5 is due to be announced very soon, which means new phones too. Sorry I'm not afraid of progression unlike you.

I can almost guarantee you that the first Nokia Windows Phone 7 phone will feature a different camera, different screen technology, higher specs,different speakers and sound reproduction quality as well as a different physical design.
