fresh installs? on both os? switch to main usb connectors
if that also fails try on another one.
mate i tried about a week until i finally flashed the emmc.

thing is you have windws7 64 bits, maemo flasher for n900 should by default install in program files x86. if you have it in program file, you modified the installation path or it is win 7 32 bits

i am out of idea. you have to make your flash work, maybe you have to disable UAC in windows or start cmd.exe as admin.
