Hi people,
As the browser is now free, can we expect Sync to be implemented?

If you implement it, sure!

I also cannot open links from other applications, could this be the same problem? Where is the url handler launch defined?

You need to reboot

As r0kkerz said, it's probably best to report those issues on the GitHub page because the browser is not yet released.

Hmm that didn't seem to work, but I found the launcher in /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.sailfishos.browser.service and it works now. It's really nice - I hope it makes it into the next update.

Wow, is this part of the official jolla browser tree, or just 'addon'? Really glad to see that anyway, thanks!

Re: [Announce] Sailfish Browser is now Open Source!

this is addon, because legal issues of using these engines are not resolved :)

shame :( (legal or money? I hope there was no money-exchange with google as the default search engine, hopefully Jolla can monetize this in future ala mozilla, but without any announcement would be ...)

I upgraded the browser & rebooted. Seems like a significant improvement over the stock browser, aside from one thing; the cover occasionally disappears:

Btw, is there any way of arranging favourites? They're neither in alphabetical nor chronological order right now, seems totally random.

i think you should ask Sailfish browser maintainer in Jolla, coderus just build based on it

I didn't have cover problems with nightly and final build. Probably there are something also breaking your cover.

I also have the missing cover problem in the nightly browser.

If this and many others are already part of the gecko-dev tree, couldn't we just get access to all of them?
