After a slowdown around ~ $1,000,000.- I was almost sure they'd miss the first stretch goal even. Now I find myself hitting 'reload' to see if the second stretch goal is still possible. We're at $1.720.035,- and there's only 13 hours left. ...

Finally bit the bullet and ordered Lastu case. :)

That is, after confirming from my wife that it does not actually look bad at all. Outsourced decision making. :D

Hopefully will also got the bonus in form of split-screen...

I wonder where the money typically comes from... You know, if it's Europe, we'll have to expect a decline overnight. If China, Russia, Australia, US&Canada are active, the story is different...

Simple: it's the "bathtub curve" effect. That is, the majority of the interest is going to be right at the beginning and right at the end.

The way these fund raisers are structured, there's a significant bonus for being in the first wave of contributors (in this case, the "Early Sailors"). Once those first slots are sold out, there's really no reason to jump in; you might as well wait and see if some new interesting perk shows up. But of course, if you do really want to contribute, you have to do so before the clock runs out, so everyone who was waiting tends to pile in at the end.

I guess its a game theory sort of thing...

At one of my former jobs, every year the top management painted the sales forecast according to that curve but every year, the expected increase towards the end of the year did not materialize. Guess how they painted the forecast the next year ;)

What exactly does splitscreen mean in jolla case. To apps side by side or one app plus os? Floating windows as Samsung? Resizable split bar between the two windows? Would split into three windows be available?

Yes, I've seen that but Different vendors got different take/implementations on this split/multi windows. What's jolla plan?
