To the left of the memory card slots is the IR port on the 360, used for the dvd remote you can buy, only thing so far that works for me is the sky+ box remote, shame their isnt much room for all the buttons

Ah found the IR codes here (something about 55 hertz though)

Let's wait for PR 1.2 with Qt 4.6, and install the new version from devel. If it doesn't help, then we can complain again :p

I have uploaded a version of QtIrreco to http://mercury.wipsl.com /qtirreco_0...emo0_armel.deb as a temporary solution.


It might not work or it might blow up your phone, but atleast it should install on PR1.1 devices.

How does TV-be-gone work? I'd like to add all possible TV off signals as a single button.

There are the databases of TV off signals here :

It might actually be easier writing a separate application, or even adding database wide functions to QtIrreco. I've no idea if one long off signal will work well in QtIrreco.

The IR doesn't work from 10 feet away. Is this just the nature of the beast or is there a way strengthen the signal?

So I don't know why people are having trouble with the xbox 360. First remote I downloaded worked..
