Hi All,

Have just joined. Had a Nokia N900 for about 2 months and have only just discovered the site.

I have been one of the unlikely one stuck with Vodafone who are delaying the new releases of maemo so I gave up with them last night and flashed the device myself. Looking for help and instruction is how I found across this site. Pleased to say my device is now up-to-date and looking forward to trying out some new apps!!

Hello,

I have been lurking around the forums for a few weeks now and I just got my N900 a few days ago. I have to say that I love it and I am still discovering all the neat features of this device. I have semi defected from Android to try out this OS. Loving it so far. I'm on the Tmo USA network and I am experiencing great service with this device. I hope to learn more as the days pass by and hope to contribute as well. Thanks for your time.

Hey!!

I just got my n900 couple of days back and ever since then I wanted to do something "geeky" haha.. so I went ahead and made my first loop-over wallpaper :P

I know its silly... but I'm loving it...

Hello, I just registered today.
Got a new Nokia N900. I love the device, BUT I hate trying to set mfe for my work. I keep getting "invalid host address for Exchange Server". I am using the same setup I have on my laptop and my PC at home ( they are working fine). I have read a lot of threads, and it seems that a lot of people are not happy with it:mad::mad:.
Can somebody help please

hi i am from Greece,and i ve just got my n900 and this community is one of the reasons.Right now is charging , i am so impressed with the construction of this device so far. but, i have a question, many ppl have problems with the pr1.2 (such as non-runnning apps) should i upgrade or not :o ?

Hi!

I am a newbie.. How can i add a pic to my profile? I am using an N900 n i love it. I am glad that Nokia made a wise decision by choosing Maemo for this phone. I wish All the best for the maemo team!! Awaiting for the firmware for the portrait mode. Do you guys know how i can hide pic's and view it from my File manager without it been shown on my picture gallery??

Just popping into say hello.

I'm from the Netherlands and will be picking up my N900 next week. The last days I have been roaming through the forum and already found lots of useful information. I can't wait to get my hands on my N900 and start hacking ;)

It's my first visit. Last week I bought a new phone samsung 3310.I am satisfied with all the features like video recording, image display and many more of the set but I don't have any idea about the GPS technology.Can anybody tell me about this? I want to make the best use of my handset.

just thought i would say hello. I recently joined and have the n900

I had the HTC Desire which was a fantastic phone. However i must say build quality on the n900 is much better.

The only thing i can say so far is the 900 software is very limited. Also the HTC is a lot faster.

I hope to gain extensive knowlege of the n900 from this forum.:):):):)

New one from HK,just watching all comments,advise,rant etc and now wana say hello,i jump here(N900) from E72 which is very very good device,(esp.Battery),but the temptation of N900 is so strong that my wallet just open infront of E.shop,anyway have a story 'bout that share with u guys soon,It's a awesome device with short Battery milege,it's a running king bolt from jamaica then marathon runner from kenya.
