Re: [v0.6-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
I seem to have some issues with the theme. Messages appear weirdly. Eg.
Hey! How ar e you doing ? Also, i dont get notifications for messages |
Re: [v0.6-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
@parasemic first issue is known, you can fix it yourself temporary with: https://github.com/CODeRUS/mitakuulu...6840350d1dbba9
and for notifications use settings, there are many options you can use. |
Re: [v0.6-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread

Re: [v0.6-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
it may be a dumb question, but what is the "system chat notifier"?
is that a diffrent notification system or something like that? |
Re: [v0.6-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
notification sound comes from system/ambience chat notifier settings
|
Re: [v0.6-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread

Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Maybe i found a solution for the aac files, i installed some codecs provided by sailfish_lib on warehouse
I answered the issue on Jolla Together (https://together.jolla.com/question/...ome-aac-files/) I write here too, because maybe we are all interested in aac files because of Mitakuuluu ;) |

@Hariainm it's better to write to email linked to About page's "email to author" button, but i can answer to any of my emails, sure.

Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
I have the feeling sometimes when I write with people, their online-status gets stuck as "online" (sometimes for half a day or more) , but maybe those people just forget to close their android whatsapp or something.

Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Since I upgraded to 0.6.8, I was requested to register to whatsapp twice and I do not know why. However the registration process was working fine.
Maybe others are experiencing same issue. |

I have just bought a Jolla finally!!! :) (waiting for it to arrive) And I would like to know if Mitakuuluu have the option to send to whatsapp syncronization just the contacts you want, and not all the phonebook. It's a need/wish for me.

Seems like my MitäKuuluu is broken again.. It seems to lose connection without notification. Mobile data only. says "connected" but cant send or receive messages

Both in Mitakuuluu and on the official WhatsApp client on a Lumia 800 the status is exactly the same of the official WhatsApp client on the Galaxy SII+. Telegram on the Galaxy SII+ does a better job: shows offline when going to the home screen. |
Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Hi folks,
i noticed mitakuuluu seems not to get the profile pictures of my contacts from whatsapp anymore. so if i get an single chat message, no notification icon appears on lockscreen, but in group chat everthing works fine. Did everyone else noticed this behaviour and how can i get my contacts pictures, since synchronisation seems not to work? |

PS: What puzzles me is the fact that this occurs only when contacts in my address book already have a picture, all others are properly loaded from whatsapp. |

Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Whatsapp support only media sending. Image, Music, Video, Location and business cardds. No other kinds of data.

Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Will i have to pay to Whatsapp every time i re-register in? Now i have to do it often so... just asking..
|
Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
payed number is payed number for the period you chose. it doesn't matter how often you re-register in.
|
Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Now it seems like i dont get notifications or led blink and "no unread messages" if i leave chat open and screen shuts down by itself. vibrates allright, tho. gonna make a github report later

I can't find any option neither in UI neither in /home/nemo/.config/coderus/mitakuuluu2.conf to do that. I don't want to send to WhatsApp Inc. any contact of which I'm not sure if he / she has WhatsApp or not. I would need by default all blocked and add just wich I want. |

Re: [v0.6-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
coderus, still not being able to register, if we could put code manually there might be a way to re register. for example ask code from android whatsapp and use it in mitakuuluu.

Well, so... how does Mitakuuluu does to search for contacts wich have Whatsapp? And how can I tell to Mitakuuluu wich ones I want to send to Whatsapp Inc. and wich ones not? Yappari (at N900) only send to Whatsapp Inc., for checking if they have Whatsapp installed, the ones with international prefix. |
