Re: Preenv webOS games compatibility list

Despite following all guides I was able to find, I still fail to create touchpad->keyboard mapping (so, for example, I would be able to change weapon type in hawx, or bind some key to help me gain pitch&zoom in x-plane games).

OTOH, I know that it is possible, as people already created such mapping for some games (for example, assassins creed)

Could someone post idiot-proof, step-by-step guide on achieving it? Bless you son and enormous thank you in advance - it, actually, bugs me for more than a year, now.

this is the output from under gdb:
----
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x401e34d4 in strlen () from /lib/libc.so.6
0x401e34d4 <strlen+4>: ldr r2, [r1], #4
----
does it help?

[Edit] Problem solved - it seems that version 1.1.6 does not work. i downloaded and used 1.1.5 - everything works fine.

no idea. only thing that comes to my mind is a reflash. (or redownload the ipk and reinstall)

Re: Preenv webOS games compatibility list

In the Preenv wiki it has this entry(http://wiki.maemo.org/Preenv/Game_Compatibility)
Brothers In Arms: Hour of Heroes 1.0.9 -Working-Use control Scheme 2, this is playable.Keyboard mapping maybe necessary

Is "Use control Scheme 2" referring to one of the now lost keyboard binding scripts?

Re: Preenv webOS games compatibility list

Has anyone ever installed x-plane extreme or helicopter? I see mention of it on
https://developer.palm.com/appredire...xplane-extreme
and
https://developer.palm.com/appredire...pp.xplane-helo
I am sure this has been asked but, how do we buy and get the .ipk to do the install?
Another thought is if the x-plane files from say android or apple, if it uses opengl , could be transplanted into an existing x-plane install?
