The installation of the pk files is a bit tricky indeed.

First, download a copy of Quake III for the desktop (I am on windows xp)
Next I will point out a tutorial that will explain it all. One thing to keep in mind with this tutorial 'the root directory' is your 'Data' drive on your N900.

Follow the instructions and you should be all good to go.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm seeing exactly the same thing, keeps crashing in the middle of the q3tourney1 map.

For what it's worth, if you play the map enough times you'll eventually get through without crashing.

Tried and it crashed early, right after when I saw the other guy, and he jumped, if that matters
My copy of pk3 is from the first PC Q3 Arena, no any update applied

Mmm. There does seem to be a problem with that map on the N900. Doesn't crash on my Debian Lenny desktop, using the same pk3 file. Workaround is to keep playing the map until you beat it without crashing. I did find that if I kept replaying it a number of times in a row it seemed to last longer before crashing, until in the end I managed to beat it. After that, you can at least access the higher tiers.

Can anyone give me the default default.cfg? I don't have it and using a empty one results in a pretty much corrupted menu. Please PM me with a link or something, I probably won't check this thread too often.

After starting a level, how do I go back to menu without finishing the level? I couldn't find a button that will pop up the menu?

Fn + , (Next to backspace) = Esc (aka Menu)
From the dailymobile.se site. Could you possibly give me your default.cfg since it has disappeared? It's in the same folder as the data files.
